Jacques Lake Backpacking

Nestled east of Maligne Lake Road, Jacques Lake is an area where both scenic views and easy access can be found.  A 12 km journey from the road (with very little in the way of elevation gain), Jacques Lake hosts a cozy campground and is a great place to look for animals and enjoy the peaceful surroundings of the Rocky Mountains.  A visit to Jacques Lake is best done as an overnight trip and can be catered or self-catered.  On a clear night, an infinite field of stars reflecting in the lake makes for amazing views.

Camping gear including tents, and sleeping pads can be provided (please inquire when making your booking).
